A little bit about us.
This site was started by two local fiction writers and editors. We noticed the artistic skill and culture budding in Grand Rapids, but found little in the way of local literary representation. Eastown was chosen to represent the city, because it seems to be the epicenter of artistic life for Grand Rapids.
Though we are based in West Michigan, we accept submissions from all over the country and even internationally. Both editors enjoy every fiction genre, and hope to encourage a wide range of submissions to the site.
